Locally the best place for portraits is wherever you and your family are comfortable. Beaches, Bush, River or Home we have a great wet weather location too....
The best time of day for portraits is in the late afternoon, in fact we insist on it! This also means that we generally only do one portrait session a day, so our dates are limited and fill up fast.

Portraits to be used for Christmas presents MUST be taken and ordered BY 1st DECEMBER.

We suggest you wear co-ordinating colours as a family, unless you prefer black and white shots, as they will be the best option if you all wear different colours. We advise that you dress children comfortably and even bring a change of clothes for if they get dirty or wet. The best portraits are of you and yours when your clothes do not detract from the face, so neutral colours, long sleeves and pants/skirts work best - no white socks! Denim always looks great, but Black or White tops can create distractions. We also recommend you avoid strong patterns, writing and logos where possible.

Bring a favourite toy, game, book or instrument, all of these can make useful props to show your true personality. With the very young toys that make noise are great for getting their attention.
Bring water to drink (Adults might prefer wine!)
Bring a towel if your shoot is to be near water.

The session lasts approximately one hour and you can expect to have group shots and individual portraits taken. Groups of more than 9 need to book a double session.

You will be invited to view your photographs back at our North Nowra Studio a day or two after your shoot where you will be shown a Slideshow then take part in an interactive ordering session. This session is best left to the adults, as we have no facility to entertain the kids and they tend to get bored. We prefer you to be able to relax and concentrate so that you get the best opportunity to purchase your gorgeous photos for home. Orders take 2-3 weeks to arrive back at our studio where you are welcome to pick up or arrange delivery.

The session booking fee; payable at the shoot is $200. This includes the actual shoot and a DVD slideshow of a selection of the best images taken.

Reprints are from $100 for 8x10 photos mounted in your choice of mat ready to frame, Triptychs (3 photos mounted in one mat for framing) start at $120 and are a very popular way to display your family portraits.
